What we did
Project overview
- Problem
Our Client was getting the data for trading analysis from a certain API. Data retrieval was quite inconvenient, yet changing the API wasn’t an option. So, our Client came to us to solve the problem.
- Our solution
Since we were strictly limited to one certain API, we had to work with the existing architecture.
We decided to implement a Python library that would serve as a wrapper to streamline data retrieval. The task wasn’t without challenges.
We had to address the inefficiencies of the original API without compromising data integrity, which was crucial. At the same time, the library had to be user-friendly.
Combining Python with Rest API, we implemented the wrapper library that sped up trading analytics for our Client significantly.
- Workflow
Our team operated fully remotely, following Agile methodology with structured sprints and bi-weekly demos to ensure continuous feedback and alignment. Transparent communication and progress tracking were maintained through Jira for task management and Slack for daily collaboration.
